A grand opening took place Sept. 1 for a new Home Depot location in the Lower Heights mixed-use district at 2777 Katy Freeway, Houston.
The 108,000-square-foot store serves as the fourth Home Depot in Houston’s Inner Loop and will employ about 160 people. New features aimed at improving the customer experience include a more flexible checkout and customer service area, specialty showrooms with new merchandising displays and layouts, a garden center, a tool rental center, and storage areas for those buying a product online and picking up in the store.
