Where does iCUE store profiles? ›

Profiles are in %AppData%\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5. By default, this is C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5. But typing "%AppData%" in the Start ... Run dialog will get you there.

Making sure you're using the latest software will give iCUE the best chance of detecting your device. Updating both windows and iCUE is important for minimizing any security issues and known bugs that might be causing problems. Next, remove or disable any potentially conflicting software.

If you own any Corsair devices or peripherals, then you should absolutely install iCUE. The free program lets you manage, control, and customize your Corsair gear, allowing you to make the most out of them.

To back up your iCUE profiles and macros, you can export the profile into a . cueprofile file on your computer. You can import this profile back into iCUE whenever you want to restore your modified settings, or share the profile with your friends so they can import it into their own iCUE software.

2) To import an iCUE profile, firstly, you'll want to navigate to the downward facing arrow ˅ on the left-hand side. The side tab will then expand and present your existing iCUE profiles. 3) Click on the backward/forward facing arrow icon. This opens a window with the import tab selected by default.

What does iCUE stand for? ›

iCUE stands for Corsair Utility Engine. Corsair iCUE allows you to customise, synchronise, and monitor all your Corsair devices from under one roof. Create your own dynamic RGB lighting effects, custom profiles, and more. It's compatible with a wide range of devices, both internal components and external peripherals.

Device memory mode in iCUE allows products to operate in a 'hardware state' without needing iCUE running in the background. Previously, exiting iCUE was necessary to activate the hardware state. This mode supports configurations like 'Hardware Lighting' for Fans and Coolers, and key assignments for mice and keyboards.

If iCUE is not running, your RGB RAM will be in "hardware mode." When in hardware mode, your RGB RAM can still display a lighting effect that you have saved to its onboard memory. To set up a lighting effect in hardware mode: Toggle Device Memory Mode in the left menu. Click the + button in Lighting Layers.

Click LIGHTING EFFECTS in the left menu. Click the dropdown menu and select STATIC COLOR. Set all RGB values to 0. Wait for the lighting of your memory modules to turn off; this may take a few seconds.

Uninstalling the iCUE software will allow you to use Dolby Atmos on your Virtuoso headset, but you will no longer be able to use any of the iCUE software features.

Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ for iCUE 3, or C:\Program Files\ for iCUE 4 or 5. (D2.)

Hardware profiles are saved to onboard profile slots in your device. The number of available slots will depend on the memory storage limit of the device, so you will need to clear or overwrite slots if there is no more room.
