He was a loving, kind and honest person, loved dearly, and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife, Sonja Thomas Clayton of the home; three daughters, Jada Cooper (Paul), Crystal Clayton, and Beth Clayton; and one grand- child, Tegan Cooper. Mr. Clayton was predeceased by five brothers, Paul, Jack, Allen, Bob, and Jerry Clayton.

Clayton DACUSVILLE -Wanda Faye EllenburgMcCuen, 79, of Dacusville, wife of almost 50 years to Hen- ryAltonMcCuen, passed away on Sunday, Septem- ber 19, 2021. Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Truman D. and Ila Harvey Ellenburg. Wanda was a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church for 57 years. She loved her family, church, and many friends she made throughout her life.
She enjoyed playing piano for services and events at Easley Place. She worked many jobs throughout the years mostly serving others. Her passions included music, ge- nealogy, and crafts. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Hall of Dacusville; Karol Raines (Chris) of Mauldin; Gayle Amos of Liberty; grandchildren, Ben Hall (Becky), Lisa Crumpton (Charles), Amy Han- sen (Nathan), Kiaya Evatt (Daniel), Chris Amos (Kelsey), Kristin Raines and Colin Raines; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Anthony (Tony) Alton McCuen and a sister Joyce Ellenburg Robinson.

Wanda McCuen GREER Jesse Ewel Crim, age 91, fromGreer, SC, passed away on September 14, 2021. Jesse resided in Greer for the past 63 years and was married to his late wife, Jane, for 69 years. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and he has been an avid Tiger fan.After serving 2 years in the USArmy, he obtained his Professional Electrical Engineering License and Electrical Contractor License inmul- tiple states. He was owner and president of Crim- son Electric and CEI and vice president of Jesse Electrical Services. He has been a loyal member of Greer First Baptist Church for 57 years where he also served as deacon in the past.
Jesse loved music, gardening, sports, and reading. He was the total package of strength, toughness, compassion, sensitivity, and versatility.He loved deeply and gave generously. He had a witty sense of humor and would make others laugh just seeing him laugh. He would just as quickly crawl under a car and come out greasy as he would dress up and enjoy a play or an opera.His versatility and determination to achieve were evidenced by his participation on the Summerville High School football teamwhere he played both offense and defense, also grabbed his saxophone at half time to play with the band! Jesse is survived by his three children: Crim, Jr. (Darlene) of Greer; Paula Holcombe (Bob) of Anderson; Patty Ryan of Lexington; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Jesse has been an outstanding man, husband, father, mentor. Christian, friend, and grandparent. He will be greatly missed.
